FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's included in the session fee?

This is for my time during the session, equipment, experience, access to a private online gallery, and also my editing time.

What is the booking fee?

The £50 booking fee is due at time of booking, by bank transfer, or Paypal and is deducted from the total balance. Unfortunately, I can not book any sessions in until this payment is received.  Once this is received I will send you the relevant information, specific to your chosen session.  Please note that pricing can change without any notice, but once your session is booked, the original price will be applicable to you.

Can I buy the copyright to the images?

The digital images are print release only,  the copyright remains with Cheryl Small Photography.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured and I am also a member of BANPAS.  This very well respected and recognised association was set up to promote safe working practices within the newborn photography industry.  You can view my profile on their website at www.banpas.co.uk.

When will the edited images be available to view on the password protected online gallery?

On average, I aim to have them ready within 1 week of your session, although at busy times it could possibly be up to 2 weeks.  You will then be given a unique password to access your online gallery.  Once published, they will then remain on your gallery for 7 days in which time you can make your selection.  Please note £5 per day will be charged to extend the date on the gallery.  Please refer to the pricing page on the website where you will see the details of the different packages that I have to offer.  Package A is the minimum spend.  I also offer a stunning range of wall products and photo albums that can be purchased in addition to your chosen package.

What do I do if my child is ill and I need to cancel?

Not a problem, as a mum of two boys myself I know children can become unwell from time to time.  However please let me know at least 24 hours before so that we can reschedule another date suitable for all of us.

What do I do if my child doesn't participate on the day?

Ultimately, they rule the roost and determine how the session goes!  Although good preparation before the session, in terms of naps and meal times is advised.  In the unlikely event of your child not participating, this is out of my hands, so we would discuss rescheduling the session.

What days do you work and where do you do the sessions?

I am available Monday to Friday typically between 10am and 3pm.  I do work some weekends, which are very popular so early booking for these is advised.  My studio is in Edenbridge on the Kent, Surrey, Sussex borders.  I use my studio for newborns,  baby and cake smash sessions only.  I do not use my studio for older siblings or families as these types of sessions are more suitable and more natural outside on location.  For my on location sessions I normally suggest a mutual location which is within a 30 minute drive of my home in Edenbridge, Kent TN8.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes,  gift vouchers are popular and can be issued to the value you that you would like to purchase.  Sessions must be held within 6 months after they are issued, except for newborns, as these sessions need to be done ideally within first 2-3 weeks after birth.  Once the recipient has received their voucher, they can contact me directly to check my availability and book their session.  Payment for gift vouchers must be paid in full before the gift voucher is posted out.

This all sounds great, how do I book?

Excellent, please email ...... info@cherylsmallphotography.co.uk  I will then check my diary and let you know some available dates.  The £50 booking fee is due at the time of booking.  Unfortunately, I cannot book any sessions in until this payment has been received.  Once this has been received i will then send you the relevant information, specific to your chosen session.
